BSA Dual Engine Salt Flat Racer
There's Custom Bobbers... and then there's Super Bobbers!
Tim from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, made available these pictures of this awesome BSA Dual Engine Salt Flat Racer project bike which combines a 1970 BSA Lightning engine in front of a 1965 BSA A65R Rocket engine. Tim is currently looking for somebody to take over and finish this project.
Tim: "Here is one you haven't seen before, a one off BSA 4 cylinder race bike. Take a look at the pictures, the frame was built over a period of about 10 years by a machinist who knew his stuff. The whole thing is aluminum billet that has been shaped and channeled for lightness. The fit and finish is second to none. He put a plate on the headstock calling it "Widow Maker" but I call it "BSA Squared".
Tim: "The bike comes with 4 boxes of engine parts. If you are really interested please give me a call as there are more parts available but I would need to speak with you in person."

BSA Double Engine
Tim: "The front engine is a 1970 Lightning engine and the rear is a 1965 A65R Rocket engine. I use the rear numbers because I thought they were cooler.
The engines have never been finished but appear to be complete, you would want to work them some to get the most out of them.
The engine drive train could be set up for top end or set up for the drags, it is up to you. Basically it is just two A65 engines that need to be built and fine tuned. I would probably run two magnetos but I am certainly no expert. The drive sprockets have been figured out but need to be welded."
